How do I assign a value for the numbers? :(

    if (number1>number2) {
      return number1;
    } 
    else {
      return number2;
    }

SImply call the function with the numbers that you want to assign to number1 and number2 respectively.

For example:

max(4, 5); //will return 5 which is the value of number2
