How do I call the function and pass value 12?

function getRandom( upper ) { return Math.floor( Math.random() * upper ) + 1; }

You call the function, and then you use 12 as the argument. If you don't understand this concept, I would go back and watch the previous videos because it will be pretty important.

Your solution should look something like this:

getRandom(12);
