How do I change the button text from all caps to lowercase?

By doing everything correctly in the videos so far, and editing all string values through the string.xml, the text in the button is in all Caps. How do I change it into a normal text scheme?

Hello,

Most likely the reason why it is always printing the text of the button to be in CAPS is because it is set that way in the theme your app is using.

With that being said, in the .xml file for the button try adding this:

android:textAllCaps="false"

It worked! Thank you! Now, I am assuming that I am going to have to do this for all future buttons, but is there a point where I can modify the theme to have this permanently set in the future? I am definitely not there yet, and I am more than OK adding that line in with other buttons :)
