CSS CSS Basics (2014) Understanding Values and Units Font Properties

how do i check what font-family i have installed on my computer?

i feel really silly asking this because im sure it simple but im not sure how to find my font-family list installed on my computer? thanks in advance!

Hi Mohamad, if you're using a Mac you can find a list of them in the Font Book (Applications > Font Book). I haven't used Windows for a while but I would say if you have a word processor on it then you could try changing the font on a document and it will give you a list of available fonts perhaps?

Adding on to John's comment: Windows has a Font folder that you can put fonts in and check what is installed: My Computer > Control Panel > Fonts
