how do i create a method that checks if a method named isFullyCharged that checks to see if the current bar is empty?

create a similar method named isFullyCharged that checks to see if the current bar count is at the maximum charge.

GoKart.java
class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private String color;
  private int barCount;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    this.color = color;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return color;
  }

  public void charge() {
    barCount = MAX_BARS;
  }

  public boolean isBatteryEmpty (){
      return barCount == 0;
  }
   if(isBatteryEmpty){}

  public boolean isFullyCharged(){

Hi there, you can do this similar to the first task, by returning the boolean result of barCount compared to the static var MAX_BARS as such:

    public boolean isFullyCharged(){
      return barCount == MAX_BARS;
}

Also there is a stray "if" statement in the code that needs to be removed. This part here:

   if(isBatteryEmpty){}

Take care and happy coding!
