first create a parameter label like this

func greeting(#person: String) {
  println("Hello \(person)")
}

or you can do this too.

func greeting(person person: String) {
  println("Hello \(person)")
}

next you need to call the function

greeting()

but you need to include the parameter label and the parameter value

greeting(person: "Jerry")

and finally here is the complete version.

func greeting(#person: String) {
  println("Hello \(person)")
}

greeting(person: "Jerry")

Thanks for your help!
