How do i get the Console function to work?

While running the javascript workshop it asks us to open up the Console feature. Every time I do, I receive the message, null’s server IP address could not be found. I've reset and restarted the computer, the program, as well as my modem. I am connected to the internet just fine. I've also cleared history and cache, still only get the same message.

I can't find any reference to the Console feature in this video. Can you give me the time index where you saw it?
