Hi, I see that you are having trouble with this challenge. To solve this challenge, you must create a variable called name which stores your name in it. Once you have created that variable, make a second variable called subject which has "Treehouse loves {}" inside it. After you have done this, use .format() to format your name into it. Enjoy!

name = 'Haider'
subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)

That is exactly whatI did and it is stating incorrect:

Challenge Task 2 of 2

OK, so now use .format() on the string "Treehouse loves {}" to put your name into the placeholder. Assign this to the variable subject again. Bummer! Be sure to use the {} placeholder and the .format() method. Preview Get Help Recheck work strings.py

name = "Lucas" subject = "Treehouse Loves {}".format(name)

What is wrong with this?

bug in workspace?

Hi Joseph, I have the root of your problem. You have done the 'loves' in 'Treehouse loves {}' with a capital letter. Get rid of the capital L and your code should work.
