should look something like this
h1 { color: purple; }

in CSS you can select a tag by writing the name of the tag followed by brackets and you write the style inside brackets like this: h1 { color: red; }
how ever you can use an inline style like :
<h1 style="color: red;">Welcome to My Web Page!</h1>
