use the style sheet on the 2nd tab to add an h1 tag and then set the color property to purple

should look something like this

h1 { color: purple; }

HTML is a markup language meaning that you mark the content so you can change visual part of the content in CSS later,

in CSS you can select a tag by writing the name of the tag followed by brackets and you write the style inside brackets like this: h1 { color: red; }

how ever you can use an inline style like :

<h1 style="color: red;">Welcome to My Web Page!</h1>
