How do I setup PHP and mySQL development environment on a remote server hosted by BlueHost?

I would like to setup my PHP and MySQL development environment with a remote server hosted by BlueHost.

I know BlueHost already provides PHP and MySQL services, but how do I configure it to connect with my localhost environment?

How should I go about that? Please help.

if it is a cpanel host, then you should be able to install phpmyadmin on there. Here is something that may help:
