How do I update my DNS if I bought my domain through another provider?

Before I'm able to login to cpanel, they're telling me I need to update my domain DNS and provide me with two links. However, I have no idea what to do, and the links provided don't give me any instruction either.

Hi Micaela,

Depending on the provider you got your domain from there is generally a tab called nameservers which is where you point your NS records to that your hosting provider will give you, they generally look like the below.

ns1.example.com, ns2.example.com

If you can't find an nameservers tab more then likely you see something with the word DNS in it, if you still can't find it you can always refer to your providers FAQ section as most sites have information for updating your DNS records.

Hope that helps.

Figured it out! I think, thank you!!!
