im a bit not understanding, need a precise explanation from someone

you need to append the dismiss button to the modal. Try that and if that doesn't work please post what you have tried so we can take a look at it.

The challenge is asking that you append the button to the model html element.

To do this you will do the following

$modal.append($dismissButton);
