How do you convert a int number (rating) to a float ?

movie_idname['rating'] = movie_idname['rating'].astype(int)

This is giving an error ValueError: invalid literal for int() with base 10: '4.0'

That error is telling you that the code is trying to do the opposite — turn a float into an int.
