How do you return a string with variables

I wrote my code for return "" and it would not compile

returns.swift
func greeting(person: String) {
    return "Hello \(person)"

}

Hi! try giving the function a return type of String.

func greeting(person: String) -> String {
    return "Hello \(person)"
}
