Hi The string is well just that a string, this means that when trying to use .split() the target must be a string.

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"

sundaes = available.split(";")

do you see how the semi-colon is between quotation marks like a string. hope this helps.

Thank you sir
