I'm doing the Front End Web Development course right now. I read in YouTube comments that a lot of courses on Treehouse are outdated. Is this one outdated? Don't want to learn outdated info you know? So yeah, anyone know? Thanks a lot.

229,732 PointsThe term "outdated" is a bit vague, as it could mean that a course contains deprecated information (stuff that is no longer valid), or it could mean that what it covers is valid but it does not contain the very latest "cutting edge" additions. Courses of the 2nd kind retain value, as they still impart essential basic skills that would be useful. And as technology advances, it's far more common for new features to be added than for old ones to be deprecated. Any training provider will be subject to new technology not being covered in their existing material.
I've taken quite a few courses here, and found them to generally do a good job of conveying a basic understanding of skills useful to development. They also acquaint you with (mostly free) resources you can use when you need information on something that wasn't covered either because it's too new or simply was beyond the scope of the courses.
