How practical are SVG media queries?

Is adding or subtracting details from an SVG based on screen size (using media queries) really worth the extra work? I can't think of any popular websites where this is actually being implemented.

No, I wouldn't use them personally. It is more work, and I wouldn't consider support for them universal enough to use them for a production website. But I haven't looked into it in awhile, so that part could be out of date.

They're interesting and fun, but I personally don't feel like it's worth it.
