Can anybody walk me through how set up a local php development environment using DesktopServer, please? Thank you Alan

Check out this link for instructions on how to install DesktopServer:

The instructions say to remove " any existing MAMP, WAMP, IIS or XAMPP installation before installing DesktopServer", however, I have MAMP and DesktopServer installed on my MAC and have had no issues. I just make sure that it is not running at the same time that I am using DesktopServer.
