Changing the color of the whole layout is simple. Instead of changing the color of the textView , you'll need to write the given color value that they request, in " " with # at the beginning

android:background = "#fff092b0" (The answer)

I can see you've used the @android:color/ color (this is only for color keywords not hexadecimal values
