How to Assign the first name to a variable? I used {let firstName = prompt("first name");} and it's not working.

let firstName; let lastName; let role = ' developer';

These were given and the question was assign the first name and last name to a variable.

I tried using the let firstName = prompt(); and it's not working.

Can someone please help!

Thanks

hi Mohamed

Don't use prompt. You only need to assign string values to variables.
