how to commit all the changes we have added to the staging area.

please tell me if this is how to commit all the changes we have made to the staging area.

git commit -a

git commit -a adds all visible changes to the staging area and commits them. To commit all the changes in the staging area and only the ones in the staging area, you just need to run a normal git commit. Don't forget the -m flag and a detailed message for either of those!
