how to create a variable

how to create a variable with the name greeting and assign it to the word "hello".

Let is a constant. Variable would be var. so for a string variable, you're looking for something like var variableName = "Your string here"

Try this

let greeting = "hello"

"let" says that we're creating a constant, to which we gave the name greeting. We then set the value of greeting to "hello".

But he was looking for a variable, not a constant ;-)

var greeting = "hello"
