How to define a variable?

Having problems defining varl in this exercise. Am I doing something wrong? What additional steps are required for me to complete this exercise?

I think you mistook 1 (the number) for l (the letter). You're suppose to define a variable called "var1" (with the number 1), not "varl" (with the letter l).
