How to do all of this on Mac OSX terminal?

I'm confused because Ctrl-Z doesn't work for me. I found that 'kill -STOP PID' can pause and program and and 'kill -CONT PID' can unpause it, but how do I list all of the current jobs? And is there a shortcut equivalent for 'fg'?
