creating functions

To create function in python you use the "def" keyword, followed by the name of the function and the some arguments. For instance a function could look like this:

def myFunction(inputA, inputB):
    return inputA + inputB #Here goes whatever you want your function to do

Now you can call your function with the inputs like this:

myFunction(5, 3) #This would return 8, since our function adds
