how to get value to put in the intent

is the string value that I put the one that has an error because I am getting an error

The first problem is that you are calling the method on Intent instead of the variable intent. Next, the value you're trying to get is an int so you need to use getIntExtra(). Also, this method expects a default value as the second argument so pass -1 for that. Finally, you need to assign the return value to mFuelLevel instead of FUEL_LEVEL.
