JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Introducing JavaScript Link to an External Script

How to input the "correct" HTML?

Hello! :)

So, I'm not really sure how to go about this code.I only learned how to create the "alert" and "document.write" commands but am not too sure how that relates with putting the correect HTML to link it to an external script. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

index.html
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
  <title>JavaScript Basics</title>
</head>
<body>

</body>
</html>
shout.js
alert("HEY, YOU'RE LEARNING TO PROGRAM JAVASCRIPT!");

The challenge is asking you to place the script element at the bottom of the page like this. The src attribute specifies the URL of an external script file. I hope that helps.

 <body>
<script src ="shout.js"></script>
</body>
