How to install/use the HHVM -- Convert PHP to C++

I'm really amazed how Facebook managed to stay alive although their users have become massive in terms of numbers. They said they used this machine HHVM, and we can also "use it" too? Does anyone know how to install and how to use this HHVM? Or what do you think about converting PHP to C++? Thank you!
