How to make it works with "show this post" on the slide?

At the beginning part of this tutorial, we have created a custom field with the YES check box that we plan to use it for choosing which work post will be display on the homepage. I have followed all the tutorial and try to apply all the technics to my website and just found out that when I check or not checking the YES box ... the slide show didn't work as the plan ... the slide shows only the newest post.

Can you post the code you are using for the slide show? Also any code you are using to query the database would also be helpful.
