How to post information to the database?

We learned about retrieving information from the database. But what if we wanted to post information to the database? How would we do that (lets say a new shirt) ?

You'll want to use an INSERT statement. It uses the format "INSERT INTO table_name SET (column1, column2, column3) VALUES (value1, value2 , value3)".
