Java Java Basics Perfecting the Prototype Looping until the value passes

how to solve this problem set

Help me in solving this

// I have initialized a java.io.Console for you. It is in a variable named console.
String response;
 response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops?");}
while(!response == yes);

Hi there,

You want the loop to continue while the response is equal to "No". This is a string.

So, in your while condition, compare response to "No". If they are equal (use equals(), not == for strings), let the loop continue.

Java doesn't know that the opposite of "No" is "Yes" - they are just two strings. So, you can't negate "Yes" with ! to get a "No".
