How to type special characters in the console?

So I can't type "|" in the console, it just doesn't recognize it and if I try to copy and paste it in it just displays it as "^V". I don't know if the problem is with the fact that I'm using chrome or windows or a Hungarian keyboard but none of these could be relevant? I tried to type it using ctrl, alt, shift, AltGr and the windows key but nothing responds.

If you are just pressing random keys, press just shift and \ at the same time. If that doesn't work, try using a English keyboard instead. That might be the problem :)

Good luck!

Hope this helps, Alex

Yeah, it was the keyboard, you have to set it to english and then it works.

Nice! :)
