How to work with TreeHouse

I don't completely understand how Treehouse works. I watch the Video and then make a tutorial in the same page automatically. And in the same time I should work in Workspace and save it step by step in another window? Thank you for helping me to understand this system.

You watch the video, take notes and follow his example in Workspaces. Once you have done this you progress to the code challenge or questions, where the code challenge will be a variation of what you did in Workspaces.

Workspaces is optional. You can choose to use your own local development environment or just watch the videos. Do as much or as little work as you need to understand the material.
