Your closing em tag needs a forward slash </em>.

Wow THANK YOU

I would also recommend tightening up the code by getting rid of some of your whitespaces:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
   <head>
    <title>HTML Text</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <p>Mike's favorite course is <em>HTML Basics<em> </p>
    <p><strong> Mike T. Frog</strong> <br>
      100 Lilypad Way <br>
      Portland, OR 97227
    </p>
  </body>
</html>

Keep the code nice and clean, as you & I know, it can get MESSY! :)

Thank you!!
