HTML Email Design project

Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible to add the initial source code for the HTML template (make it available for download like for the HTML projects).

I already wrote down the code, but maybe it can speed up the process for other learners. Also, I don't have the images (at least not at the point I reached in the course), so I can't really recreate the template on my side. I can just write HTML and try to understand it.

Livia-Alexandra Sarban & Josh Hicks Source code files are now available for the HTML Email Design project. You can find and download them in the sidebar on any of the video pages.

Livia-Alexandra Sarban and Josh Hicks - we actually added a .zip file with the HTML and images to the course this morning. You can find it associated with any video.

Thanks for the feedback, guys - happy to add those links as well!

I agree, it would be a lot easier to practice if they had the code ready to go. Like the Codepen sections.

Dan Gorgone - What say you about setting up the project files in codepen like the Smells Like Bakin Project & the CSS Foundations deep dive do?

Sounds like a great idea, James Barnett - you volunteering? :) Either way, let me know and I believe we can add that link to the project as well.

Dan Gorgone - Sure I'll work for Treehouse freelance making putting code up on codepen

Thank you very much! That's great.

In Styling with Limited CSS (https://teamtreehouse.com/library/html-email-design/designing-email-with-css/styling-with-limited-css), maybe you can also add the references presented in the video under Notes:

Email Client CSS Support: http://templates.mailchimp.com/resources/email-client-css-support

Cascading Style Sheets Level 2 Revision 1 (CSS 2.1) Specification: http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS2/

The Automatic CSS Inliner Tool: http://beaker.mailchimp.com/inline-css

PreMailer: http://premailer.dialect.ca/

End of the road, the project was pretty interesting and gave me a lot of reference to work with.

Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback Livia-Alexandra Sarban . Copying in Dan Gorgone so he sees this.

I'm always happy to provide feedback :) Will certainly point out anything else I notice down the road.

Wow, you guys are actually reading these things! Thank you!!
