I am completely lost on this section of the quiz.

Can someone help me to understand dir a little bit more?

I can not seem to get past the dir question on this quiz? Thanks.

Dir returns a list of methods and attributes an object has.

num = 3.141
print dir(num)

This will print out stuff like __abs__, __nonzero__, etc., which are methods of num. So this will print the absolute value of num:

print num.__abs__()
