  question = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops?");

  }

??? and

I think it might be a good idea to re-watch the video(s) :-)

But if you followed the instructions in the challenge you would end up with something like this:

// I have initialized a java.io.Console for you. It is in a variable named console.
String response;

do {
  response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops?");
} while (response == "No");

console.printf("Because you said %s, you passed the test!", response);
