The rawValue initializer can initialize an enum case using its raw value, in this case an integer. Try this:

enum Compass: Int {
  case North = 1
  case East = 2
  case South = 3
  case West = 4
}

let direction = Compass(rawValue: 4) \\ returns Compass.West
