General Discussion

I am majoring in Finance. Is there any courses that can help me to build my professional portfolio.

What would be the great track to pick. I am really having a trouble time to decide.

Are you talking about your web portfolio? Like making a personal site to showcase your own work? Or are you looking for something that will get you more work? How does the majoring in finance play into it?

@Jacob Mishkin, Not web portfolio. Something that really related to financial field. What courses should I take so that I can be better off in the financial market with programming skills. I know they have so many courses here at Treehouse but I could not understand what course or path should I take. Thanks!

Hold on, let me find the one on Linkedin for you. https://teamtreehouse.com/library/careers-foundations

I'm having issues with the link, but this is the course.

The personal branding section helped me blossom. I would suggest working through this, if you have any questions ask them here. If you want to ask me questions personally, feel free to message me via a social network.

If you need assistance with setting this up, let me know.

Thank you Peyton. I am looking on it. I will definitely knock you if I have any further questions. Thanks again.

From what I've seen you should learn one of these three languages C, C++, or Java.

Thanks Jacob! I am looking at the post. :)

I don't know what kind of finance employment you are getting onto but I think this is a good start, also you should ask your profs at university and see what they say.
