I am making changes to style.css but browser does not update them immediately and takes more than few refreshes.Why?

I am developing a wordpress theme and when I make changes to style.css and refresh my browser,the changes are not immediately reflected.May it is showing the cached content.How can I resolve this problem?

try to open your developer tools this should stop the browser cash storage. (if you are using chrome)
