I am not sure how to write doc.write along side with the function??

is the way how to write a document with function

document.write(function='player') ;

app.js 
var player = 'Jasmine'; 
document.write(function='player')

For the argument, you only need the variable name. The "function=" isn't needed and causes an error.

Also, never put quotes around a variable name.
