JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Storing and Tracking Information with Variables Using String Methods

I am really struggling with the second part of this code challenge. I can not figure out how to combine the strings.

Complete the assignment to the userName variable by adding a # symbol followed by an all uppercase version of the lastName variable.

userName= prompt{id.toUpperCase()); userName= userName + "lastName"; NO userName= 'id' + 'last Name'; NO userName= prompt(id.toUpperCase() + prompt(lastName.toUpperCase()); NO userName= 'id' +#"lastName"; NO

var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";

var userName= prompt(id.toUpperCase());

Try this.

var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";

var userName = id.toUpperCase() + '#' + lastName.toUpperCase();

Glad I could help! Don't forget to have fun with concatenations!
