I am stuck in this task can somebody tell me my mistake?

The task says "Create a new function named just_right that takes a single argument, a string. If the length of the string is less than five characters, return "Your string is too short". If the string is longer than five characters, return "Your string is too long". Otherwise, just return True.". ı did thiş but bummer says "Try again!". Can somebody tell my mistakle?

strlen.py
def just_right(num):
    if len(num) < 5:
        print("Your string is too short")
    elif len(num) > 5:
        print("Your string is too long")
    else:
        return True

I think its because you used print() instead of return like this.

def just_right(arg):
    if len(arg) < 5:
        return "Your string is too short"
    elif len(arg) > 5:
        return "Your string is too long"
    else:
        return True

Hi Bronson Roybal, i tried below one,

def just_right(val): if len(val) < 5: return "Your string is too short" elif len(val) > 5: return "Your string id too long" else: return True does't work.Please help on this.

Everything looks good, except you have a typo "Your string is too long" you put id instead of is, that could be holding you back from passing.
