I applied the normalize.css file in my workspace, but now my header is no longer linking to index.html.

Here is my code:

<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <title>Sarah Hodo | Doodle Artist</title> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css> </head> <body> <header> <a href="index.html"> <h1>Sarah Hodo</h1> <h2>Doodle Artist</h2> </a> <nav> <ul> <li><a href="index.html">Portfilio</a></li> <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li> <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li> </ul> </nav> </header> <section> <ul> <li> <a href="img/numbers-01.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""> <p>Experimentation With Color and Texture.</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-02.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt=""> <p>Playing With Blending Modes.</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-06.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt=""> <p>Trying to Create Glows.</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-09.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-09.jpg" alt=""> <p>Drips Created Using Brushes.</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-12.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-12.jpg" alt=""> <p>Creating Shapes Using Repetition.</p> </a> </li> </ul> </section> <footer> </footer> </body> </html>

Hi Sarah - you missed of the second quote mark after your link to normalize.css in the head section - that is causing your index.html link to not be working.
