Treehouse TeacherHi there! Because float is a primitive data type, it does not need the pointer before the variable name. So this line:
float *average;
should look like this:
float average;
And other than figuring it out yourself, searching through the Community, Googling, or reviewing documentation: no, you cannot view the answer that passes. Treehouse does not give out an answer key
