You're really close. You are trying to style the span inside .intro, but you don't want to lose the styling that you did to .intro, so your code would look like the following:

.intro {
  font-size: 1.25em;
  line-height: 1.6;
}

.intro span {
  font-weight: bold;
  font-style: italic;
}
