iOS Swift 2.0 Basics Swift Operators Working With Operators: Part 2

I cannot figure out what i am doing wrong in task 1 on increment operators . with the ( initialScore and totalScore )?

i cannot figure this task out and whats not correct please help .

Hi there! The challenge is simply testing your knowledge of the increment operators. Placement matters here as we want the total score and initial score to be the same. Take a look:

// Enter your code below

var initialScore = 8
let totalScore = ++initialScore

Note that if you put the increment operators on the other side of initialScore. Then totalScore would be equal to 8 and initialScore would be equal to 9. This is because the assignment would happen before the increment. Hope this helps!
