I cannot load the workspace.

When I clicked on "Launch It", a new window appears but the loading circle keeps running.

Hi Anh!

  • May I know what browser and operating system are you using?
  • Have you tried disabling Ad-blockers for teamtreehouse.com?
  • Have you tried using a different browser?

Let me know so I can assist you with deeper troubleshooting, if necessary.

Hi Michael! I am using Safari browser on Mac OS X, I don't have Ad-blocker or any extensions in Safari, and I haven't tried using a different browser and I don't want to install another browser

Thanks Anh,

After posting my first answer I checked on 5 different browsers on both macOS and Windows and it works just fine, so I will assume the issue is at your end.

Please try checking the connection speed and if you are on a stable network. Also, assuming the issue is only with Treehouse website and all other websites work fine, open Terminal and ping teamtreehouse.com

And tell me the output in a comment here.

It should look something like this:

imac:~ michael$ ping teamtreehouse.com. <----------- Type this command
PING teamtreehouse.com (169.45.222.26): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 169.45.222.26: icmp_seq=0 ttl=51 time=137.664 ms
64 bytes from 169.45.222.26: icmp_seq=1 ttl=51 time=139.926 ms

You can also try clearing cache in Safari.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Hi Michael, Following your advice, I tried to open teamtreehouse's Workspace in Chrome and it opens. After I have cleared the cache in Safari, the output of the terminal is "64 bytes from 169.45.222.26: icmp_seq=97 ttl=47 time=74.373 ms, 64 bytes from 169.45.222.26: icmp_seq=98 ttl=47 time=75.058 ms" and Workspace does not open in Safari. What is your advice?

Hi Anh,

So it seems like a browser issue, plus your ping output is even better than mine so it doesn't seem like slow server response type of issue.

Even though you mentioned that you do not use any extensions or ad-blockers please consider the following: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203353 Specifically the "Remove Internet plug-ins and other add-ons" part.

Could you also verify to me the macOS and Safari version you use?
