Hi there,

You're close! The issue here is that you have a period(.) before your h1 selector. For an html tag like h1, you don't need any punctuation - just 'h1'. We use a period for a class, and a number/hash sign(#) for an id.

To target your h1 tag and make the text purple, it would look something like:

h1 {
  color: purple;
}
