I can't seem to figure out how they want it displayed even after re-watching the video for this section.

i've tried multiple ways to display "developer" using the .toUpperCase command and i can't figure it out. Any thoughts?

Hi Derek!

This exercise is all about using the variables to build your msg string

This passes all three:

let firstName = 'Derek';
let lastName = 'Janssen';
let role = 'developer';

let msg = firstName + " " + lastName + ": " + role.toUpperCase();
